Delete your Uploadex account

Delete your account in the app

1. Open the Uploadex app and sign in.
2. Go to the Account tab, then Settings.
3. Tap Delete account.
4. Type your account email and your password (or a two-factor code), then confirm.

Delete your account on the website

1. Sign in at uploadex.net.
2. Open Settings.
3. In the Danger zone, choose Delete account.
4. Type your account email and your password (or a two-factor code), then confirm.

Can’t sign in?

Email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days.

What we delete

• Right away: you are signed out on every device and your account, profile and share links stop working.
• Within 30 days: your files and folders, profile (name, bio, avatar, location, website), email address, password, two-factor settings, payout methods, API keys, webhooks, notifications, push tokens and comments are permanently deleted.
• Deleted files are removed from primary storage and then from caches and backups as they expire.

What we keep, and for how long

• Sales, payouts and invoices: records of money you earned or paid are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, without your profile details.
• Security and abuse records: reports about files and records needed to prevent fraud are kept only as long as needed for that purpose.

Delete some data without closing your account

• Files and folders: open a file or folder and choose Delete. Files in the trash are removed for good after the trash period, or right away with Delete forever.
• Profile details: edit or clear your name, bio, location and website in Account, Edit profile.
• Payout methods and sessions: remove them in Settings at any time. API keys and webhooks can be removed on the Developer screen.
• Anything else: email [email protected] and tell us which data to delete. We reply within 30 days.
