Refund & Cancellation Policy

Short version: Paid plan subscriptions may be cancelled any time. Refund eligibility depends on when you cancel and whether the service has been used. We aim to resolve all refund requests within 7 business days.

Scope

This policy applies to all purchases made on uploadex.net, including monthly and annual subscription plans. It does not apply to any third-party services you may access through Uploadex.

Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time from your Billing settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to your paid plan features until then.

After cancellation your account is automatically downgraded to the Free tier. Your uploaded files are retained subject to the storage limits of the Free plan; files exceeding those limits may become inaccessible.

Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

  • Annual plans cancelled within 7 days of the initial purchase date are eligible for a full refund, provided the storage used during that period does not exceed 5 GB.
  • Monthly plans cancelled within 48 hours of the initial purchase (first subscription only, not renewals) are eligible for a full refund.
  • If Uploadex experiences a verified service outage lasting more than 72 continuous hours in a billing month, affected users may request a pro-rated credit or refund for that month.
  • If a payment was processed in error (e.g., a duplicate charge), we will issue a full refund with no conditions.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Subscription renewals (monthly or annual) after the initial purchase.
  • Partial months or unused days remaining after downgrade or cancellation.
  • Add-on purchases, one-time credits, or promotional upgrades.
  • Accounts terminated for violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email us at [email protected] with:

  • Your registered email address.
  • The Razorpay / payment order ID or transaction reference.
  • The reason for your refund request.

We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and aim to resolve it within 7 business days.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are credited back to the original payment method. Processing times vary by payment method:

  • UPI & Net Banking: 3–5 business days
  • Credit / Debit cards: 5–7 business days
  • Wallets: 1–3 business days

Uploadex does not charge any fee for processing refunds. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to reflect the credit.

Disputes & Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and by updating the date at the top of this page.
